Actually not a bad idea, it may be time to start shipping ammo in innocently marked foodcans. "Campbells .40 soup."
    Gud och soldater vörda vi
När i tider av fara de stå oss bi.
När faran är över och fyllda stå faten
Då glömma vi Gud och förakta soldaten.

    Roughly translates to:

    God and soldiers we revere,
In times of trouble hold them dear.
When danger has past, and theres food in the larder,
We forget God, And Scorn the soldier.

Both the bullets and the raisins induce number 2?

Hmmm, I guess if raisin box, ammo, and 12 are the only elements of your vector space, yeah, raisin box + ammo (could) = 12.

Thank you 230RN! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Thank you for FINALLY putting to rest the ever-burning question of how many .30-06? shells will fit into a standard Sunkist Raisins box!

It will be SOOO nice to finally sleep nights again!

    You are truly a hero!

Just - eh - don't bite the primers.

I assume those are .223's. What disguise -er - box do you recommend for .308 WIN?

I don't get the reference, could you elucidate?

From Rokyudai's reference to a towel, I'm guessing it's from Hitchhiker's Guide, but it's been many years since I read that.

    The Gazinta Complex

    They're M193s.

Those pics are kind of a takeoff on the "You know you're a gun nut when..." threads. One of my little neuroses is a "gazinta complex."

    Only a gun nut would...

...wonder if a .22 LR gazinta a soda straw from MacWendyKing's.

...wonder if a .38 SPL gazinta a Gillette shaver cartridge container.

And I wonder if my Mark II magazine gazinta the ornate pen box I got for an Award at work.

    Or if a 7.62 X 54R cartridge gazinta a perfume box?

Or if my 91/30 gazinta the ski tunnel in my car with the bayonet attached.

Or how many 5.56s would fit in a raisin box...

Sometimes it goes beyond mere gun stuff.

Sometimes I get in trouble because of this gazinta complex.

Sometimes it's exclusively a male thing.

OK seriously, I give up. What is the reference from? It's been bugging my like crazy for 2 days and I can't find it with Google.

    The flavor of raisins

It's just that I'm always looking to see what kind of gun stuff will fit in what kind of container, and with the flap recently about hiding stuff, I discovered that 12 .223's will fit rather neatly into raisin boxes. OP was more of a suggestion to be creative about it, and that folks extrapolate from this example as to how to squirrel nuts away.

THis did not go the way I thought it would. Can some kind-hearted and empathic moderator close this thing.

    I sorry.

    I won't do it again.
