    A book recommendation

    Hi all,

Today I picked up a book called "The School on Heart's Content Road," by Carolyn Chute. It just was released on Friday. The NY Times review is here: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/04/bo...q=chute&st=cse

The author and her husband are both pictured with firearms (her with an AK!) in the review.

I've read 288 pages so far today and it is fantastic. The RKBA is a substantial part of the story, and sensible ownership of guns is featured favorably.

Hope someone else reads it and enjoys as much as I have.

    Josh

I haven't seen this book yet, but the Bean's of Egypt was great. It was like she lived down the road from me and was writing about a couple of locals. It was a good read.

Letourneau's Used Auto Parts was also funny.

I looked over both of those at the book store yesterday, and this, frankly, looks better than any of her others (although they all look great). I highly recommend it.
