    GunBroker under heavy load? :)

In an effort to do some price checking (which is causing me to lean toward meeting the asking price of AirPower's AR15 in the trading post), I opened up GunBroker, and (while not logged in), the images of the items for sale were not coming up. I thought that this might be *because* I wasn't logged in, so I dragged out the password and signed in ... and found the same thing was true. Then a few of the pages I opened eventually did fill in with the pictures, but ... slow slow slow.

Is there a "show the images quicker" feature I'm missing there, or are they just under a crush of visitors?

I had the same problem, so it's not something you are doing.

GB is always the slowest site to open. That and photobucket. They need to update their servers?

It was a good deal slower than usual last night while I looked around to see how prices were behaving. I missed a decent deal on a .38 S&W (not Spl.)

Most are still overpriced. If it is popular, right now is not the time to get it, unless you just gotta have it.

i jump on it every night, hasnt been any slower on my end than normal....
I did see that AK's were about 100-150 more than a cpl of weeks ago. There were still SKS's with no reserve @ $250 with no bids.......so they arent snatching up everything in sight just yet.
