The perspective makes that SMLE look huge!

I am ignorant and do not know or understand what KIND of gun that is. A battle rifle? It looks HUGE! Huh? SMLE = ???

I don't know tons about rifles and mainly know what I personally own or what my husband and late husband owns/owned.

    Please excuse my ignorance.

I think that the gun looks TOO big for the rest of the picture.

    No offense.

I would like to see a SWEET lever action rifle, a Marlin Papoose, a single or double action revolver or a sweet Glock Model 19 or 19C in this picture. Can you tell what I like in some firearms now?! Ha!

I would even go for a Bushmaster in .223 Caliber - if you want a black evil gun (Grin.).

    Thanks.

    That's a great picture!

All of the models are pretty and this last one has a GREAT smile while she holds the rifle!

I like the print/pattern in her clothing too.

We need some men models too. Hunk a roo ni types! Grin.

It's a British SMLE #4mk1 -- and it's a trick of perspective more than the size. Ilike it that way.

It's my unscientific opinion that the HK91 looks even more evil than the AR OR the AK. Especially with the slimline handguard. The only weapon more evil-looking might be the AR-18/0.

Just to make people enjoy the variety more, posters featuring gay male couple with religious symbols and guns are coming.

My goodness, that Enfield looks like it's going to make her fall over.

    sweet lever action, Marlin Papoose
An Enfield is a weapon of war. (Note to self, more brass, large rifle primers, IMR 4895....)

It's a close-up taken with a wide-angle lens, and the gun it tilted slightly towards the camera. (although *her* features don't look distorted, so maybe Oleg did something magical with a tilt/shift lens.)

Edit: actually, her left hand may be a little distorted, but you have to look for it.

Ah! Short lens. While it sure dramatizes the gun, maybe an M1 Carbine would have been my choice.

Maybe I'm not as tolerant as I thought, but even a cute smiling girl holding a battle rifle next to a star-and-crescent gives me a moment's pause. As much as I hate PC-ness and don't think that most Muslims (and certainly not in America) are a threat, the message might go through more smoothly if she were to be holding a Mosin, Marlin 336, or perhaps a 1911. It pains me to have written this, but I figure that if this is my first response (second response: so which model is she holding?) then non-gunners will probably flip their shiitake mushrooms.

As for the pictures, they're beautiful, as usual.
