    Help Identify this Ammo

I had 840 rounds of 7.62x39 ammunition fall in my lap today and I'm trying to get a better idea of what it is. The top of the box says:
    CENTERFIRE
    AMMUNITION
    NON-CORROSIVE
    CAL. 7,62x39-8 HP L.C.B
    MADE TO HUNTING
    SPECIFICATIONS
    KEEP OUT OF REACH
    OF CHILDREN
One side of the box says:
    MADE IN RUSSIA
    20 pcs
The other side has what appears to be a logo that says PCT. The headstamp has a "3" on one side and a "96" on the other. There are no other markings on the cartridge. The bullet is a hollowpoint bullet (I have not pulled one to see what grain).

I cannot find any information on a PCT brand of ammunition. Does anybody here have a better handle on what this ammo might be or when it may have been produced?

The 3 is for Ulyanovsk Machinery Plant State Production Association, 2 Metallistov St. Ulyanovosk 432031, Russia

The 96 is likely the year of manufacture.

I knew there was a table like that out there somewhere. The one I found in my search wasn't near that comprehensive. Thank you. Any idea what it's worth?

Hollow point AK ammo, also used in the Mini-30, SKS, and others.

Hunt anything that you would attempt with a .30-30.

    Good cheap deal!
