Interesting. What can you tell us about it?

I can't seem to make out any sort of gas system. Is this a retarded blowback design?

One thing is for sure. This would be an incredibly easy build for a home gunsmith. About the only equipment i can think of that would be needed is a lathe, a shop press, and possibly a torch or welder. Materials could come from a wrecked Volvo. I would like to see more detail, like an exploded diagram and a schematic. If I can get my hands on those, I might build a reasonable facsimile. Looks like it might be handy in a high-end pistol cartridge like 9x23 or 10mm Auto. Done right, with a barrel nut, it could be a "backpack carbine".

I made an SMG out of a wrecked Volvo once in another country.

From what I can make out of the images, I think this may be a short stroke annular gas system like the VZ-52. If so I'd suspect a cylindrical bolt carrier and rotary locking bolt... sort of a fusion of M16 and VZ-52 for dirt cheap manufacture.

Hey, good deal PercyShelley. I've been wondering if there would be any further info on the thing.

Apparently my guess at an annular gas system was a clear miss. The website still leaves one guessing, but it would seem to be a recoil operated weapon?

Hard to say; I'll have to look at the video harder.

The reference to a lever bolt accelerator does suggest recoil operation, but the attachment of a bayonet does not.

    Edit:

Obviously, most of the claims in the video are nonsense. The range is quoted as several kilometers by the presenter.

I agree that it does not seem to be gas operated. I was intrigued by the mention that the designer had also worked on "a mute pistol without a muffler," which sounds to me like a captive-piston weapon.

    Found another video:

Alas, I do not speak Armenian, so this video doesn't tell me much beyond the fact that the rifle shotguns open like an AR, and is apparently hammer-fired.

"The bolt has a round shape
and inside it there is the second part of it with the
bolt head with the pusher. Between the two bolts,
from two sides, a lunar shape is curved, where
the lobe is placed. It operates as a lever-type
    accelerator."

On second thought I suppose that could mean it's some sort of retarded blowback. Don't lever and roller systems both use a two-piece bolt?

Some of the comments are truly bizarre:

"this weapon will respond very fast to azeri aggression.. it can use Soviet rounds and NATO rounds.. very impressive.. and the fire rate is faster then any Kalashnikov ever built.. the chamber barrel and mussel barrel are the same size that gives the weapon very little recoil, the bullet will get out of the barrel very easily, not like the AK, Ak had a rough time spitting its bullets out making the gun more of a spitfire weapon. =)"
