A radio talk show in Chicago is conducting an online poll on whether Illinois should become a conceal carry state. Those against are winning the poll. Please visit the link above and vote YES. The site is a little slow so be patient.

AT this time, no's lead by a bunch. This is as mainstream media as it gets here. Thousands said yesterday at IGOLD but no paper covered it TRib or Herald. Sam @5 seconds of video on NBC last night used in conjunction with the "school shootings increase".

Yesterday, WGN online posted a poll, on a very popular talk show, asking if Illinois should become a concealed carry state? In the early part of the morning, those opposed had outnumbered by a large margin those who were in favor of conceal carry. Thanks to Chemsoldier, we were able to alert our side, including other forums such as The High Road and HK.94.com. The table turned very quickly in our favor.
The final results of the WGN online poll was a blowout in favor of conceal carry in Illinois:

Yes - 2,777 (73.6%)
No - 996 (26.4%)
Thanks to everyone who voted. We need to keep alert on these online polls as they can affect the public perception of public willingness to accept conceal carry in Illinois.

Someone on the "other" channel is saying the Obama forum is a parody and anyone believing it as gospel is very gullible.He puts up no citations to support his contention however.

I gave a moments thought to joining and trying to educate them.
But then I figured that even the fact the US Gun control started as racism, a way to keep newly freed slaves from owning firearms wouldn't matter to them given the hatred I saw.
Frankly, I guess I have been in my socio-economic bubble for too long. I actually commented to my wife that the level of hatred surprised me.
Need to file that away and remember I guess . . . .
