    AK wood

I have an underfolder Polish AK and a WASR AK. Can the front foregrips be interchanged? Also, how do you take the bottom foregrip off? Thanks in advance.

To remove the lower handguard, first remove the cleaning rod and gas tube, then at the front right-hand side of the lower grip you will see a little lever that must be rotated forward. That will allow the retainer to slide forward along the barrel, releasing the grip.

The two grips should be interchangeable, AFAIK.

Late to the party, I know.

You guys with Kalashnikovs need to bookmark this site: http://www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/index.shtml

It is about "Romanian" AKs, but the tips and techniques available there work for any Kalashnikov.

Excellent tutorials there. I found that site a LONG time ago and often refer people there.
