Since my daughter(s) are just now 17 and 18 and cannot legally carry firearms, they both have OC sprays that also contain UV marking dyes... If they're accosted, they've both taken classes (at my insistence) on how to use the sprays, and if the perp tries to flee, then he can be identified later because even after the spray wears off (roughly 20minutes to 2 hours) the dye stains skin for up to 48 hours, even after repeated washings.
