    Dean Winchester's custom 1911 from "Supernatural"

    It's a pretty big world out there, and I'd be surprised if I was the first one out there to want to own a replica of this weapon...kind of like the ultimate "functional prop!" Something that wouldn't be a carry weapon or anything, but also wouldn't be a safe queen never to be shot either.

    At first I thought it would be a pretty easy order....get a 1911 with a shiny silver finish and white grips of some sort. Then, I checked for screencaps...

    Yeah, looks like a bit of ENGRAVING is involved. And it looks like to be most accurate, a stone-basic 1911 should be used...

    This gun isn't really high on the priority list for me right now, nor will it be till I'm more financially secure. But in the meantime, was wondering if you'd care to give me some reccomendations of some gunsmiths for the engraving and refinishing work.
    I should be very much obliged if you would slip your revolver into your pocket. An Eley's # 2 is an excellent argument with gentlemen who can twist steel pokers into knots.
