i have three kids annd two grandkids...

i also have a small collection of 1911s and a couple of glocks. we don't play show-and-tell with firearms. if someone shows an interest in guns, etc. we take it from the safety standpoint first and try to impress the fact that even though guns exist that doesn't mean that they can be accessed by anyone at anytime. now, there is something more dangerous for children. it's called kiddie porn by the media. right now you are wondering what the hell i am talking about. i am talking about access to your computer from outside sources capable of downloading a virus to your computer that can visit 400-500 porn sites a minute--A MINUTE-- and then store them on your hard drive. the bad guy is in your house and you don't know it. that frightening "rick-rack" of a pump shotgun has no effect. guns can't protect us from everything, but can be used as a base for education. some things are potentially dangerous--firearms. some things are inherently dangerous and call for a good stiff rope. as you inspect and clean your firearms, making them safe for your family, look a little further. if you can fly an airplane into a building, you can also sneak in the back and poison thhe family. THR probably won't post this, it's inflammatory. but, before they decide to delete it, more than one person will get to read it. little by little...god bless you--robby

Well I guess you coudl take a 12 Gauge to your computer and that would solve the problem.

I'd suggest buying some quality antivirus software to help reduce your fears and the risk.

Robby there are definitely plenty of freaks out there so just do the best you can to protect yourself and family.

If you get attacked like you are saying I'd suggest getting Law Enforcement involved. Maybe they can find the sick SOB's that did this to you.

I have topline AV software that updates hourly or faster, and I don't visit nasty sites. If I am too paranoid of this, I would never visit the internet again.
If total government control equals safety, why are prisons so dangerous?

The point is definitely valid. People spend so much time with the obvious stuff that some forget other things that can be just as dangerous.
