    1187 20guage

    when you take the barrel off of the 1187 will the seals for the gas move aroundd and if they are not properly lined back up will this cause problems?

    im still new with taking guns apart and dont want to make a mistake

    I have the 12 ga version and I just follow the diagram on the bracket that holds the bolt and slides up and down the magazine tube. I would imagine that you could run into problems if you do not put them on correctly.

    Yes they will move freely with the barrel off. If you get them in the wrong order, the gun will not work right. 99.9999% of all 'O' ring problems are the result of the operator ripping them taking them off over the magazine threads or using a material that is not petroleum resistant, so be careful with that 'O' ring. It doesn't move in service, and I have not had one fail in over 46 years.
