Who's coming to SHOT Show? (Las Vegas, NV Jan.18-22)

If you are, look me up at the show. I'll be drifting around with a camera in hand.

    Oleg,

We'll be floating around as well buying inventory for our new gun store, NOVA Armament, up in the DC area. If we see you, it'll be a good time.

Not this year unfortunately. Too much work both at my day job and at the gun biz.

    I wish, seriously. Can't find a pet sitter/house sitter.

    Oleg,

Will you be updating a blog or anything with pics/news from the show? Ken Lunde usually does a good report, but I would like to see your pics also.

Myself and my business partner will be running around looking for stuff for our new store in Northern VA: www.novaarmament.com. If anyone wants to get together for lunch or something like that, please send me a PM.

I will indeed be there, and if I'm not wandering aimlessly around the convention hall, I'll be manning booth L130.

Hope to see some of you guys out there!

I'll be there, representing Arms Tech a Phoenix based company that has had the cover of SWAT several times during the past few years. Dr, Joe has developed a gas trap Compak16. We are unveiling a takedown precision rifle in 338 Lapua, with a snap on can.

Looking forward to meeting you all. I'm going to write down alias's so I can look for you all. I'm old. nearly 100 so you'l see my walker.

When I graduated from LFI III, Mas had to wheel me out on a wagon. corneredcat.com Kathy had to help me load my shotgun, I finally said the heck with it and just yelled boom.

    Scoring is easier that way.

and the name is the same, so I'm easy to spot, (well ya' gotta' read the name tags).
Any one interested in a first or second day lunch, at the show or near by. We have done dinners in the past, but seems a bit late to plan one now.

I can't make it this year. I do have two requests for those going, though.

First, if Wildalaska makes the 500 S&W lever-action carbine a reality, let me know!

Second, Alan Gura's going to be speaking about the McDonald case on Wednesday, and I'd love to know the gist of it.

Back, at last. I saw maybe 30% of the show despite being there since it opened. Lots of new projects.

It was good to finally meet Oleg and Henry Bowman at the SHOT Show. Had dinner with Threefeathers. Gatherings such as this are a great opportunity to meet good people who share your values.

Sheik Yerbouti, the Remington folks say they weren't far enough along with the 1911 pistol for an intro at this time. I'd look for an intro later this year or 2011, amidst a tsunami of centennial 1911 variations.

    Mas,

It was great to meet you at last! It's a pity that I wound up so over-booked during the show that I wasn't able to do portraits of you, John Farnam and other interesting people as planned. Hopefully, we'll remedy that before the next SHOT rolls around.

The main down side to SHOT this year was the location. It's a labor union city and that showed. I heard several complaints about extortion of money for the ability to unload show displays.

Oleg, two spots for Mas's May class in Sierra Vista AZ opened up. We have a very nice military community and you would be welcome, and also probably one of the recipients of Threefeathers famous Cochise County Ghost travelouge. Mas, Gail, and Marty Hays lived through it.
