New Gun, Need a New Holster

i just picked up a Taurus 669 4"; it's an older model, with wood grips. i've shot it, it's flawless. i'm thinking about making this my camping/hiking gun, but i need a decent holster for it. so far, i can only find cheap nylon ones. any advice?

    Take a look at a Don Hume #h721-ot no.7-4"

Your new prize looks a lot like the Ruger gp100 so it might work for you. Hope so.

    Biased

Since I just recieved my holster from El Paso Saddlery today this is probably biased. That being said they probably have a holster that can fit what you have. When you order you tell them the make, model, and barrel length and if the pattern can fit your handgun it will be custom made and fit like a glove.

i contacted El Paso; they got nothing. luckily, i foinally found one that fits; it's a Safariland paddle holster, black leather.

    here's the gun:

the next step is to get a chest rig for this, for hiking and trail use.

Run the numbers back on it.

Safariland should help you on that.

I am betting it takes a S&W K-frame holster, though.
