    Where Is Our Survey

Besides that news story, where is our Public Relations offensive? I imagine there are certain pro-gun groups taking action in defense of Starbucks decision, but do we have a coordinated effort on the same scale as BradyCampaign?

Nice job on the link, by the way. I wouldn't have found it without your post and I took pleasure in voting "No".

I also wrote them on their corporate site, and told them they will get all my coffee business for standing up for us protecting ourselves.

Wishful thinking in the title to the story "Guns at Starbucks? Thousands say no"

More like "28 say No - 4,700 say Yes"

Actually it's "spin" because we are saying "no" in the poll...it's all in how it's worded.

I would hope that's the case, Ze, but I'm not entirely convinced that the writer had intended that

Starbucks has replied that they're staying out of the issue. Where it's legal, carry (concealed and open) is not their concern; where not legal, it's not up to them. Their job is to make good coffee, not social policy.

Is Star Wars, err Bucks Rogers, err ... whatever that shoe store called really worth all the efforts put fourth? BuckStars is just another wannabe stop and rob shop in the making anyways looking for a few of their own low end cashier/janitorial end employees to get killed by thugs with guns, so that they can further help add statistics to the overall political gun control agenda. They fit right in with other supporters of gun control like the Media, the World Almanac, the Census Bureau, the DCJ, and dumb retail companies/stores.

Oh yeah ... let the statistics flow ...

I sent them an e-mail thanking them for standing up to Brady, and got this response:

    Hello Stan,

Thanks for contacting Starbucks Coffee Company.

For Starbucks, the safety of our customers and partners is a paramount concern. We have existing security protocols in place to handle situations related to safety in our stores. We will continue to adhere closely to local, state and federal laws and the counsel of law enforcement regarding this issue.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.

    Warm Regards,
