Hi all, I'm going to thread my SAR1 for a muzzle brake but I need to find a detent pin & spring. I only found one source, K-Var & they want almost $20. Any other options out there? Thanks!

The detent pin & spring are captive so unless your front sight base has the hole for them, I think you are out of luck without changing the front sight base.
Even then I don't see how you'd get them in without removing the front sight.

Oh c'mon... some 6yr old in a foreign factory built that AK using his bare hands and a hammer and a chisel out of a pile of scrap steel for slave wages and you can't come up with a simple pin and spring?
