Been watching for 5 minutes. This is retarded. Dude is arguing with his wife after she sold a Colt 1911, a training class, etc. and a customization to make it pink.
My complaints:
1. Its "reality" TV which somehow involves more drama than a soap opera. In the reality I live in with my friends and coworkers, we have fun with our lives and don't argue all the time. We're also polite to strangers and can conduct business calmly.
2. Husband and wife run the business apparently. I find it embarrassing and tasteless to argue with my wife about even the most minor household business in front of family, never mind in public. It is shameful to conduct yourself in this way on national television.
3. Reinforcing the "cool black gun is mans gun" or "pretty pink gun is womans gun" stereotypes. At the end of the day its a matter of taste, if *your* gun (or car or art or whatever) works for you and makes you happy and doesn't harm me, then good for you. I may still have my own opinions but some people get wound up way too tight about matters of taste.
4. A good colorization job on a pistol isn't hard or expensive. Unless it was quoted too low, you should be happy you made a sale. Detail strip the 1911, degrease it, do a good duracode or colorization and cash the check. Do your job or watch the money go to another shop.
So yea. Don't waste your time with this show, its just as bad as that Red Guns or Sons of Guns or whatever it is. Its not about skilled craftsmen and interesting projects, its about "reality".
