After 25 years my case polisher finally bought the big one. Now I need a new one. Been looking at the new tech sonic cleaners.
Anybody use one? Good, Bad, or otherwise?

I just use a tumbler, myself.
The Ultrasonic cleaners get used in a plethora of industries for cleaning parts. With the proper, degassed solution cleaning brass should be easy. What is the solution used in brass cleaning and how long it is effective, no clue here.
I have used various solvents in vapor degreasers/ultrasonic cleaners for electronic components. Disposing of these is a hassle and they don't get used as often due to this.
I have an ultrasonic cleaner. It will get cases clean but I still use the tumbler for cleaning cases. The tumbler is easy and cheap and will do big batches at a time. The ultrasonic cleaner seems to be fussy about having everything just right. It may get the whole case clean, even the inside, but it's just not as simple as the tumbler. Maybe it's just a steep learning curve and I haven't had it long enough?
I'm with P5 Guy and griz. An ultrasonic cleaner sounds interesting, but my old Lyman tumbler does a good enough job for me. I see no reason to replace it.
I have a Thumber's vibrating tumblers that I bought used on eBay about 8 or 10 years ago. It was probably 20 years old when I got it. It does such a good job, I don' see any reason to mess with anything else. (It doesn't clean the primer pockets much with the media I'm using now, but I'm OK with that)
If I wanted to play with something exotic, it would be stainless steel wet media; I think you use that in a rotating tumblers, but I have an old rock tumbler I'm not using.
