    Pro-gun music

There's a whole thread somewhere about pro-gun songs, but it's old enough I figured this deserved a new one:

    http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_10636124

    Not bad.

Those first two are off-topic in this thread. A mere mention of guns neither makes a song "pro-gun" nor even "gun-related."

Heh. Thanks. I wasn't going to go so far as to remove them myself, but that's one of my pet peeves in this type of thread.

I feel so fine since I got that little girl of mine!

Taj Mahal version of the Robert Johnson classic: ".32/20 Blues"

Now I'm told Robert Johnson was not singing about guns at all, but merely suggesting some physical attribute of Mrs. Johnson. I don't know, but I like the blues. And pie.

A great deal of rap and hip hop music is pro gun.

Consider Wayne Carter, a phenomenally popular singer, who had to spend a year in prison because of New York's draconian and possibly unconstitutional anti gun laws.

He sings about how since he can't own a gun anymore, his girlfriend keeps one in her purse in case he needs it to defend himself.

The sort who would rather be tried by twelve than carried by six.

Not the sort of "pro-gun" we promote on this forum.

Amen. What I can understand of the "rap" I hear I wish I couldn't.

    Nice, but barely gun-related...

Still, I now have a lot of new (to me, at least) country music to download.

My Dad has been going though the threads and was most upset this ancient example was not included. Against my better judgment and common decency I will zombie the thread and inflict it on whoever is foolish enough to listen to it.

I wonder, is there any pro IED music?

Cause while guns are neat, to really put a dent into someone's day, you need high explosives. You can't deliver the sort of energy a dozen pounds of high explosives give off with any gun.

Sir Mix-a-lot - No holds barred.

Here's some rap that I would defy anyone to call not pro-gun. Language is strong; be advised.

The TNT song reminded me of Raven, a fictional character (Aleut) in one book who is a Sovereign person.

Everyone treats him with respect and makes sure nothing bad ever happens to him.

See, the guy's got a bike. A big BMW, IIRC
And the sidecar on the bike is a live 1 megaton nuclear warhead that he somehow obtained.

Capable guy, 6'8" feet tall, 300 lbs, not fat, ex-harpooner and ex-oil rig worker.. and not really stupid, just looks stupid.

Oh, and the nuke is wired to his vital sign, he dies, it goes off. Or if his brain waves stop.

His signature weapon is a glass-tipped harpoon. People have lost count of the number of suicides who tried to kill him while wearing kevlar. Glass-tipscut through kevlar like it's not there.

    Aaron Lewis - Country boy

And I like my jeans and my old t shirts and a couple extra pounds never really hurt Ďcause a country boy is all Iíll ever be Ďcause Hank taught me just how to stay alive.

youíll never catch me out the house without my 9 or .45.
now two flags fly above my land that really sum up how I feel.

One is the colors that fly high and proud

the red the white the blue

the other ones got a rattle snake with a simple statement made

Donít Tread on Me is what it says and Iíll take that to my grave because this is me

I'm proud to be American and strong in my beliefs.

And Iíve said it before but Iíll say it again cause I've never needed Government to hold my hand
I love my country, I love my guns, I love my family, I love the way it is now, and anybody that tries to change it has to come through me, that should be all of our attitudes, cause this is America, and a country boys good enough for me, son.
