If total government control equals safety, why are prisons so dangerous?

You can shed a tear on this one. Inheriting Grand Pa's Guns after he's gone.
    I Got the Guns.

They are little more than a few old guns handed down the line.
Once owned by my Nana and Papa, but now they're mine.
They've been all the way to Utah, then back home to Texas again.
They've seen Colorado, Wyoming, and the Grand Canyon.
Hunting trips in the freezing snow and up before the sun.
And now they're apart of me, I got the guns.

I never really got to know him I was much to young
He died on the Corpus Christi Bay when I was one.
A Christian man I barely knew, but he was oh so proud of me.
He ran the nursery at the church for free
"Amazing Grace how sweet the sound" he always sung
Sometimes I can hear him when I fire his guns
"A man's got to know his limitations."

Cool Pro Gun - 2nd Amendment Song and others songs of freedom . . .

    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this site, so I want to introduce myself. My name is James Christian and my performing name is Jiminy C. I wrote and recorded a song two years ago entitled, "I Got A Gun". It is the 6th song in a 17 song CD recently released entitled, "Desert Stump's Hardly Heard Hits". As the lead member of the Travailing Tilbury's, together we are, "Freedom's Ever Loving Marching Band". "Desert Stump's Hardly Heard Hits" is actually the soundtrack to a screenplay/novel that I am working on entitled, "The Existence An' Epoch Of Desert Stump?". There isn't a YouTube video for the songs yet, but the songs can be sampled at cdbaby.com or amazon.com or on Itunes. A few titles of the other songs are, "Don't Listen To Lies", "Freedom Rings", and "Tears Of Reign". There are expressions of my faith in some of the songs, but I would not categorize this CD as Christian per-say. There are some songs that have a bit of humor ("Singing Like The King" and "Hen Scratch Fervor's"- a B-movie type commentary on feeding steroids to chickens and when it goes bad :-), one about addictions, a couple of love songs, a few thought provoking songs, a drag racing song, and a song about motherly love. (Good one for Mother's Day or any day you want to think about your mother :-) The genres of the 17 songs vary from folk to rock to heavy metalish. Anyway, you can check one or all out by going here:

God bless y'all and best regards,
    Jiminy C
