Brady Campaign wants MY opinion about guns? Are they kidding?

Never ones to let a blood spot go dry without some exploitation.....

Brady Campaign asks Examiner’s opinion about guns

“How important do you think it is for our political leaders to take action to prevent senseless gun deaths like Trayvon Martin’s?”

What a golden opportunity. Those questions you list, can they make them any more obviously biased?
If total government control equals safety, why are prisons so dangerous?

Uh, the questions seem crafted to lead the reader to the Brady opinion (based only on the limited data spun their way) rather than ask the reader for the reader's opinion.

I received the same questionnaire "prepared for ME!

They want to learn from citizens across the country. (Be still my quaking heart!)

I have filled in the form with appropriate disclaimers in the white spaces. For example, I have pointed out that Trayvors death has not been established as "pointless."

I have not yet decided to return it. I have not yet decided whether to remove my name and address.

TallPine, you beat me to the keyboard!

As for the "gun death" being senseless, since when is self defense senseless? (I wonder if Zimmerman had used a knife in his defense if the hoopla would be the same...)

Some guy killed a 59 year old lady business partner and a 77 year old gentleman who was visiting her with a mop handle on Friday in Coral Gables,Florida. Almost anything can be used as a killer weapon,a ball point pen ,a paper clip.

A man from Miami has been charged with murder after killing his business partner and another un-named victim after admitting to police that he bludgeoned them with a wooden mop.

Father of three Jose Rojas, admitted to police that he planned to kidnap, torture and extort money from his victims, but did not kill them.
The Brady's still have some dinero?

Every time I see Sarah Brady, she appears

frustrated on a sexual level. IMHO, she needs to

take a break, consult a good therapist, relax, break wind, and

try smiling for a change.(perhaps not in that order)

YES, BTW, I feel sensible laws would help. Laws which punish

    the behavior of criminals.

The anti-gun lobby must know it's a losing cause by now.

There wouldn't BE a "gun lobby" if there wasn't an

    anti-gun lobby- DAAHH!

See, there, now, I doubt the Brady Bunch really wants to know what

    I think...

There are - and always have been - laws against murder, rape, assault, theft. Those are the only "reasonable" laws needed. It is up to all of us to enforce them.

    It's a shame they don't ask me.

The last obnoxious contact I got was from the Avaricious Association of Rapatious Predators. Those socialists wanted to sell me insurance, and included a return envelope.

I figured that before they insured me, they'd want to know if I was healthy. So I sent them a stool sample.

Can someone PLEASE, just kill the BB's agenda?

Not sure how that can be accomplished, but I guess it would mean a guy with an illegal GUN,
going to the BB University and sounding Off?

When people. WHEN is enough enough?

Just got a form letter from VPC saying they would appreciate a tax deductible contribution of $500 but they would cheerfully accept $250 or whatever I can afford in installments. I'm thinking they must not have read my sig line. You don't suppose the anti- gun people are getting desperate do you?

I quite understand the compulsion to be a grammar/spelling/punctuation Nazi, I have to resist the temptation myself. But why quote what you did when your point, minor to the point of insignificance, was with his signature line?

If you really must, send him a PM.
