    Fathers Day range trip

A friend took his six year old daughter to the range for the first time.

    How did she do?
You may think I just fell off the turnip truck but keep in mind I grew the turnips and it's my truck.

Thanks, Oleg, for a positive thought to start the week!

Remember it is a Bill of Rights, not a Bill of Needs. We don't have to prove a need to keep and bear arms.

We got rained out, so she got as far as figuring out peep sights with Crickett and TC Hot Shot and hit the "woodchuck" target at 5 steps. But she's now hooked on rifles and can't wait to shoot more. We used CCI "Quiet" ammo (700fps) and it kept the report down to almost nothing.

Very cool! I'm glad to know I have a little sister in the sport!

    That's great!

I spent Fathers Day at the vet hospital with a dying cat.
If total government control equals safety, why are prisons so dangerous?
