    Collected a stray

Wonder of wonders, it's NOT a CZ. I need a non CZ for work - my bosses aren't enlightened yet. Got a killer deal on this pistol, which is used, but lightly, very lightly.

Beretta PX40 Storm 40SW. Even when buying "mainstream", I have to get something slightly unusual.

Gonna need a holster and a spare mag, too.
If total government control equals safety, why are prisons so dangerous?

Handsome looking pistol. My main reason for posting, though, was to ask what your employer has against CZ? Many of their firearms have been around a lot longer than the pistol you just bought. I'm thinking specifically of the CZ75, which is also available in .40 now.
I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles "The Hammer" Martel when you need him?

yes, I play the bagpipes. No, I don't wear a skirt. It's called a kilt.

Some of the smartest people I've known were "dumb hillbillies".

Not only are those Storms visually distinctive, but they're also operationally distinctive.

Like the Colt 2000, and the Grand Power K100/STI GP6 (same gun - different names), the Beretta uses a rotating barrel action.
"Tactical" is a mindset, not an equipment list.

I have no idea why, but for ten years I tried to change their collective minds. I left and am going back, fresh start, and going to try again. Heck one of the officially "authorized" companies is AMT...go figure.
I'd love to carry my CZ SP-01 Phantom to work and back every day but that's not possible yet, so I collect this stray to help out in the meantime.
