Thinking that an SBR 22 is in my near future...

Why .22 lr,cheap to shoot and ammo is plentyful.

    Why an SBR?

Open carry/winter concealed carry option (true it is a .22 and it is an SBR,but an SBR is easier to hit with than a handgun in a bad situation)

I've been looking at the H&K MP5-A5,have all the legal paper work done, then have the barrel trimmed down and have a flash hider/muzzle protection device installed....I think such a setup would be sweet.

    Any thoughts?

MP5s with long barrels look almost as silly as Uzis with them.

Go for it, and have fun!

I will as soon as I can get the funds together for the paper work, and the .22

And I agree that long barrels on either model look....well how should I put this....like a screen door on a submarine.

The true beauty of America is that if something makes you happy and you have the money it doesn't matter what anybody thinks. Jump right in before Obama changes that.
You may think I just fell off the turnip truck but keep in mind I grew the turnips and it's my truck.
