Search for posts?

I was looking for some links I used in one of my older posts (like 2 years ago), and noticed that advanced search (listing me as the poster) results only in threads I started, not posts I made. Is there a switch or button that I've missed?

Also, if the simple search generates multiple pages of links, and I try to get to the second page (or any page other than the first), I get a "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms" message.

Your best bet is to use google with the site option then your ID and any phrases you may remember. Second best is to go to your profile, there will be a link that says something like "all posts by LoosedHorse" that might take you back that far.

Last, if all else fails take your loss and start a text file of every link you use as well as those of any posts that are particularly memorable.

For best results, do it something like this:

phrase or word being sought Loosedhorse site:gunrightsmedia.com

This will return results ONLY from here, and will reduce the size of your haystack
