    Alaska has spoken!

    http://alaskapride.blogspot.com/2013...-chenault.html

Quote: "TITLE: "An Act exempting certain firearms and firearm accessories in this state from federal regulation; providing criminal penalties for federal officials who enforce or attempt to enforce a federal law, regulation, rule, or order regulating certain firearms and firearm accessories in this state; and providing for an effective date." "

What other states are attempting the same thing?

Maybe not at the state level, but still happens at the county level. Look at what those county cops did in Oregon:

Also the legislative leadership in Oregon are downplaying any notion of jumping on the gun control bandwagon. Now that Obama has folded it will only go more that way. It's called "overreach"...

Add Wagoner County Oklahoma to the list of Sheriffs not willing to do any enforcement of unconstitutional gun laws.

    Vermont stands tall

The flatlander sponsor of an AWB for Vermont withdrew his proposal after it was made clear to him that any ban was DOA.

Sheriffs in Washington and Oregon have also stepped up.

I wuz wrong! I wuz wrong! Mark the day! Caloo Callay!

This is not a "commitment" to "not enforce" any new onerous laws, but doggone it, there's some high thinking in there. A good read, I guarantee it.

Why, I could have written that myself!

This marks the second time I've been wrong. First was about forty years ago.

Colorado is fine; it's Denver that is the problem.

If you like Colorado you should love Wyoming. Wyoming is a Colorado without the Denver.
