The Super Bowl 2015: Your Pick!

We'll do a poll. Why not? The Winner(s) gets something! I don't know what! We've got nothing else to do now that Harry Reid is no longer running the USA! Thank you, Lord!

Next week.. at.Seattle. I hope Tony does not become the old Romo. Something we saw a few times today. The 'Boys barely escaped at home, against a team who has not won a playoff game in 12 years.

And no NFL title since 1957. Ike was Prez!

I will always pick the Patriots even if I know they can't win, along with the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins. I may not agree with the politics of most of the North East but I still root for the teams.

I made a boo boo in post #10. Because of their better record, Romo and the Cowboys will travel to Green Bay to meet Aaron Rodgers and the Pack.

Carolina will go Seattle to play the Hawks. Sorry about that.

It will be the first Dallas playoff trip to Green Bay since they lost the famous "Ice Bowl", 21-17, on December 31,1967, the temperature at about -10.

I am partially with you. Although not a Patriot or Bruin fan, I've faithfully pulled for the Celtics and Red Sox since 1956.

A lot of joy and a lot of grief following Boston teams. But it's been worth it.

It is down to the Pats vs Colts and Seattle vs GB.

I am going with GB and Indy from here.

I want GB and Indy from here.

But I fear it will be the Pats and the Hawks from here.

    Hopefully, you are the seer!

If it comes down to Hawks and Pats, I'm with you. Seattle can be beaten at a neutral site. At home, not so much.

They are the first NFL team since the 1969-70-71 Minnesota Vikings to allow the fewest points in the league for 3 consecutive seasons. This is quite a feat.

On offense, Russell Wilson does not turn the ball over, has very good receivers and has got "Beast Mode" Lynch to run the ball.

They are a load on both sides of the ball.

I thought the Hawks were done for, but they made one Hell of a comeback. I wanted GB to win, but on the other hand GB got paid back for the bad calls they got when they played the Cowboys.

Looks like the Pats are going to the SB also.

I knew these would be the teams , but didn't want to see it happen.

I've been following the NFL since 1953. This Packer loss was the toughest playoff loss I've ever seen and also the biggest choke.

A fake FG for a TD, A 2 point conversion that should have been a QB sack, and then Wilson throws up a ball that was in the air for maybe 10 seconds!

Then the ultimate: A bumbled onside kick that 2 Packers should of had, especially #86, who now lives the rest of his life as a football Bill Buckner.

A dream match, Rodgers vs Brady goes up in flames. Outside of Seattle, who wants their teams to win? Not too many.

I am physically ill right now.

One other thing:Kicking FG's from the 1 yard is NOT the way you beat that Seattle defense. I do love the Pack, but they are an embarrassment right now.

That whole 60,000 people town of Green Bay is either bombed or on their way at this moment. A nightmare I won't forget.

Yeah, we both have that meager consolation. Since my heavy betting days are over, it doesn't help me very much!

I would have liked to have seen the Packers against the Pats.

So do you think Seattle will make an executive order against Boston Backed beans?

They better double check their balls.

    Go Patriots!

Seattle will probably be a slight favorite. Russell Wilson is not only a competent QB, he is a magician. The game winning (as it turned out) 2 point conversion he threw up, while being almost sacked 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage, was just a prayer in the air, that about 8 to 10 seconds later, fell into the arms of TE Luke Willson.( no relation ,in the EZ.! )

Magic beats good any day. Russell has magic. Seattle to beat the Patriots on February 1 in Glendale. I hope I'm wrong.
