    Independence Day and press bias

Subtle anti-gun media bias is tyranny of a different sort

A story in yesterday’s U.S. News and World Report contained a reference to “so-called Second Amendment rights,” while another piece in that same publication back on June 23 suggested that Americans “feared increased gun control” because of the “first black president.”

"They've" been pulling out all the stops on a marginalization campaign. Everywhere you look you'll see zingers from them.

And now, naturally, you'll see comments herein about "him" not being the first black President. Which plays right into "their" hands.
"Gun control is not about public safety, crime reduction, or 'the children.' Gun control is about power. The people have it, and the government would rather they didn't." (An internet poster, not myself.)
