    Blackhawk Serpa

Can the serpa tactical be removed from the thigh rig and adapted for belt carry?

Pretty sure it can- I don't have the thigh rig, but every thing seems to be interchangable...

    Check here:

Slightly OT: What the heck does SERPA mean?

ours is but to shoot the guy.

    Serpa

Absolutely.... I have several Serpas. One is Tac rig for a G-22. I alos bought a Serpa Tac leg-drop for a Beretta M-9 for my youngest Marine. The others are for a P-229 and a P-239 and a P-2000. The non-tac items come with both a belt loop and a paddle. Both adjustable for rake and tension. I like them. All of the Serpas detach from the mounting platform and attach to any of the others.
