    I dunno, that last one on that linked page looks like it should have been in Star Wars.
    USSR had a lot of weapon prototypes that never made it anywhere, and that's two of them right there. Ugly beyond ugly.

    I found some of them interesting....Project Abakan???AN94 that was bullpupped??? Also,that 23mm(grenade launcher?) bullpup looked as though it could ebuseful in discouraging close pursuit.

    These are interesting. They both have the off-vertical magazine placement from the AN-94. I had always assumed that the canted magazine well was a last-minute workaround, but it seems like Nikonov never figured out how to avoid it, or he actually thought it was useful.

    They can both be seen in the background amongst other trial weapons in the cabinet. Talking of vertically loaded magazines, check out the AO-222 in the top right(vaguely seen behind the reflection).
