    Thanks folks

If you'd be so kind, I also need some votes for best text size to use

That thread will be in the Testing... Testing... forum as well.

    Thanks!

I'd like to request you use an image hosting site for your images.

Attachments do not display on my Chrome or Firefox browsers (yes, I'm logged in).

Directly linked images do not depend on the user being logged in, nor are they affected by browser/OS choice.

An example of a direct linked image:

nalioth, I would have liked to do that, but I was more concerned that using a free imaging site could lead to problems down the road. They could change storage allowance, addressing, or the management hates guns, etc. crippling the thread.

Unfortunately, I don't have web hosting at this time, or I would have put it there to keep the bandwidth down. Of course if something happens to me, the pics could become irretrievable and the thread ruined.

Additionally, THR may benefit if it brings visitors to the site and they sign up to view the my super awesome pics . Signing up may also provide a slight deterrent to those with criminal intent.

Of course it may not be worth a damn in the end. I assume it could be tossed by management if it's a problem.

I'm bummed that you can't view my thread the way it was meant to be viewed. Do you think there is something getting lost between vBulletin and ubuntu? I've run chrome and IE on a windows machine with no problems. I'll try FF here in a few minutes.

Well, I just checked with Firefox 3.5.6 and it only shows the thumbnail images when logged in.

    Thanks for the report, Sistema1927.
Do you mind telling what operating system you are using?

If you click the thumbnail it should show you the full image.

Works in Firefox 3.5.9 and Chrome on Windows XP.

Thanks, but that's not the point.

Something is broken, either in the browser, or VBulletin, and the inline images aren't showing up when they're supposed to.

Do you mean attached images? Are they not appearing at all?

They appear for me in IE, Firefox and Chrome.

The inline image would be the off site image.

The "inline image" is the one that shows in the post proper. Attachmed images show both there and as thumbnails.

As you can see from this image, attached inline images are broken, but the thumbnails of the attachments can still be seen and clicked on.
