    Luger P08 Values

Where would one look to find the value of an assortment of Lugers. Some WWII, some commercial, some from countries other than Germany and one WWI Navy?
I have almost no knowledge of these things and the more I search the more confused I become.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    An assortment? Wow.

You could look at Simpson but should consider that their prices are on the high side of the market and you could not depend on getting that yourself.

    P08s

    Yeah 24.
Two are Mitchell's one is a Baby Erma in 380ACP. Some are Swiss with the Cross Crest. One is a unit marked Navy from a Torpedo Div. I even have a Mauser that a jeweler said is platinum plated. Four Black Widows one 41 the rest are 42. A "Fat Barrel. Some are 30 Luger and some are 9mm. I'm totally in the dark.
I'm having a hard time understanding what I have and how much they are worth. My rough estimate is around $25K for insurance. And do I even want them?

Might be best to sign up at the Lugerforum.com and show pictures.

I sure don't know enough to guide you on all that, even my one specialist book is gone.

    Thanks Mr Watson
The link you posted is amazing. I'm thinking that my $25k estimate is low.

Even shooters have a high value. Collector guns will be in the thousands of $$$US.

    Trying to post a picture

    Navy Luger unit mark.
It worked one of the 23 handed down to me from a Great Uncle in many ways.

Jan C. Still's Luger Forum at Gunboards.com - if they're a real Luger expert, they're a member there. And there are enough of them, nobody can try to pull one over on you without being drowned out by everyone else.

You've got a fortune at any rate!
I would be interested in one of the Mitchels as I would like to be able to shoot it,and I could possibly afford one! All the rest are collectors items!

You have some Black Widows? Wow! That's one of my dream pistols. If you decide on a price to sell one, (and you decide to sell individually), please shoot me a PM.

Robert, I've heard the Mitchell made Lugers do not work very good.
